International Chamber Series

The International Chamber Series concerts are presented in cooperation with the College of Music at the University of North Texas.  Concerts are FREE but donations are appreciated.

Beethoven: Symphony No. 1

Celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth with a performance of the master's first symphony. Local product Juanito Riveros, a student at the Cleveland Institute of Music and winner of the 2020 International Competition for Strings and Harp, performs a concerto originally written for guitar and subsequent scored by the composer for harp. Delius' evocative A Song Before Sunrise rounds out the program.

Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 4

Pianist Nikita Fitenko returns to Lewisville after an absence of nine years to perform Liszt's splashy Concerto in E-flat Major. Tchaikovsky's powerful "Fate" symphony concludes the program.
