Daniel Yi, elected to forfeit the opportunity to perform with the Lewisville Lake Symphony and his share of the prize money in order to resolve a schedule conflict with an audition for the elite US Marine Band -- "The President's Own". He is one of only seven finalists for an oboe position from across the nation.
