Rush e-Tix
for music students and
their parents
|
|
|
|
Highly
discounted tickets
Subject to
availability, the Lewisville Lake
Symphony offers highly discounted,
short-notice Rush e-tix to
students and their parents at participating
schools. The program allows students to sense the
thrill of live music played by professional
musicians and get new insights into the
possibilities of their own chosen instruments.
Why the rush?
The
Symphony releases Rush e-Tix
once it is decided that full-price advance sales
are not likely to fill the hall. Anticipation of
a full house dims the prospects for Rush
e-Tix. The decision is made about seven
or eight days before a concert
How we notify
participating schools
When tickets are available, an email notice is
sent to participating teachers. It contains a
Promotional Code for students and their parents.
Tickets become available online on a first come,
first served basis for $5 each plus a $1.50
booking fee. (Regular prices are $20 to $25 for
adults and $10 for students plus the booking
fee.)
If we release a block of, say 30 tickets to the
Rush e-Tix program, the person
trying to get the 31st ticket gets a response
saying 'invalid promotional code.' That's
computer-speak for 'too late.'
Sign up your
students
Signing up your campus or private studio for
Rush e-Tix is easy.
