Cecile Lagarenne, oboist, holds a Music Education degree from Florida Atlantic University. In 1985, she moved to the Dallas area where she started a private teaching studio. In addition to tutoring weekly students, Ms. Lagarenne regularly performs on oboe and English horn with the Lewisville Lake Symphony, Richardson Symphony, Wichita Falls Symphony, and the Texas Opus III Trio. She has also performed with The Dallas Opera, Fort Worth, and Shreveport Orchestras. As a free lance musician she has performed in many local venues including a concerto performance at The University of Texas at Dallas. Ms. Lagarenne can be heard on the CD "Circulo" as a member of the Opus III trio as well as on soon to be released CDs by Ned Spurlock and Cantor Don Croll from Temple Shalom. |
