  Organization
The Lewisville Lake Symphony Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Association’s members are active volunteers and donors at the Bronze level and above. The Association members elect the Board of Directors. The orchestra, members of the American Federation of Musicians, adds one voting member. The Board, in turn, elects it's officers from among the voting Board members.

The directors are responsible for strategic direction, the Symphony budget and its management, approval of plans for concerts, management of community relationships, and lead fundraising activities.

Tactical matters are left to the Group Chairs for Finance, Marketing, Sales, Civic Relations, and Volunteer Coordination.

The Music Director/Conductor, an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Board, and the orchestra report to the Board of Directors and thence to the Association.

Board Meetings
Board meetings are scheduled quarterly for June 2, September 2, December 1, 2011 and March 1, 2012

The meetings are usually held at the Continuum Rehabilitation Hospital Community Hospital 2100 Peters Colony Road Flower Mound.
