Lewisville Lake Symphony confers Angel
status on Bill Leggett
All of the arts groups represented by the The
Greater Lewisville Arts Council need volunteers to
thrive. Annually, each group
honors an outstanding volunteer who has given time and talent
generously with an Angel award.

Bill Leggett is the
Lewisville Lake Symphony’s 2005 Angel. “He is one of those "dream
volunteers" that all organizations would like to clone,” says Nancy
Wright, Chair of the Symphony’s volunteer Guild organization. She adds,
“The Symphony has gained mightily by Bill’s "leadership by example" and
the positive energy he brings to the group.”
Bill
joined the Symphony several years ago and immediately took on one of the
toughest jobs available -- logistics coordinator -- one of those
thankless deadline-driven jobs where the holder only becomes visible if
something goes wrong.
In
addition, Bill has been a tireless promoter of symphony functions, an
inventive problem solver, an effective fundraiser and an enthusiastic
recruiter of new people to join the ranks of symphony volunteers. He
was elected to the LLS Board last year and is now Chairman of the
Board.

Lake Symphony, now 22 seasons young, as become one of the most respected
