2013 - 2014

In 2013, the Friends tour Ireland.

The Friends of the Symphony is an adventure minded group of Symphony supporters who enjoy combining travel and good company. The Friends include volunteers, donors, audience members and sometimes some of our professional musicians.

In past years, the Friends have cruised on the Rhône through southern France, and the Seine through the north, followed the Danube through Eastern Europe to the Black Sea, explored Egypt and Russia, traveled among the islands of Greece, and taken a safari through Tanzania's Serengeti.

Grand Circle, the tour operator, gives the Friends a donation equivalent to a free trip if the group reaches a certain size. Thus, by becoming a Friend of the Symphony you will experience the wonders of the Emerald Isle and help the Symphony at the same time.
